The Present Simple Tense is used to describe actions, facts, habits, routines, and situations that are generally true or happen regularly.
Sentence Structure
The Present Simple Tense has two main subject patterns.
Subject Type 1
Subjects: he, she, it, any singular noun

Note: Some verbs are generally not used in the progressive (continuous) form because they express a state rather than an action. These are called stative verbs or non-progressive verbs.
